Explore Kiryu’s historical streetscape, famous temples and unique architecture.
Be exposed to the industrial and cultural heritage. Trace Kiryu Textile's 1,300 years of history.
Take time to immerse yourself in the original tradition and culture of Kiryu.

Take a walking tour at downtown Kiryu to see Kiryu’s historical streetscape:
Many sawtooth roof mills and earthen-walled warehouses for storing silks
Downtown Kiryu Historical Building
Kiryu Shinmachi Important Preservation Districts for Groups of Traditional Buildings (selected by the National Government "Agency for Cultural Affairs")
The Kiryu Tenman-gu Shrine (a Prefectural Cultural Treasure)
Tour the factories or the facilities for making silk textiles, called “Kiryu-Ori”.
