CV of Prof. Dr. Preecha Yupapin


 

PreechaYupapin received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the City University of London in 1993.  He was a retirement staff at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Thailand in 2015. He has been a visiting professor at KasemBundit University and Kasetsart University, Thailand since 2015.There are about 60 Ph.D. completions with him in the areas of physics, mathematics, electronics, communication, energy, nano-medicine and brain science, where there were students from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, and Iran in the computationally related areas. He has published 56 papers in IEEE Society in both conference and journal papers. He has authored/co-authored more than 1,000 research papers in Google Scholar database, 465 papers in Scopus database with H-index 25, 500 papers in research gate, 45 papers in Pubmed, and 45 chapters and books. His research interests are in multi-physics, spintronics, brain science, nano-communication networks, nano-medicine and beauty, nano-energy, quantum information, brain science and quantum mind, where most of the published papers are in computational merging areas. Recently, he has been appointed to a Professorship in the Quantum Optics Group, Ton DucThang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 2016. Prof. Yupapin is now recognized within the top researchers in Thailand today, a member of Thai Institute of Physics (TIP), Optical Society of America (OSA) advisory board, South East Asia Theoretical Physics (SEATPA) council member and a STEM ambassador. He has been appointed as an editor in chief and editorial board member of more than 30 international journals, for example, EiC Biosensors& Bioelectronics, OMICS. He has been appointed as a Professorship by the FOSTECT, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 2016.
